  A strategically located cafe in the heart of Surabaya. I love sitting by the windowsill to enjoy their coffee while observing what’s going on outside lol. Food is quite good and they have breakfast menus for the early-riser too.

  Good cafe in the center of town. But how come the mineral water is tooooo expensive bro?

  Pillow talk
  - seductive bites of sweet potato gnocchi with organic sautéed kale, drizzled with a vegan creamy cashew citrus sauce, java almond feta and lemon infused olive oil.⁣⁣
  Macqui spritzer
  - macqui berry, passion fruit, lemon, honey and soda water.⁣⁣
  Both dishes were amazing, must get these two food items when in shady shack, you won't regret your order!

  분위기가 santai santai~ 너무 좋습니다.
  음식들은 간이 강하지 않아 자극적인 음식 좋아하시면 조금 안맞을 수도 있지만, 대체적으로 마음에 들었어요.
  채식을 하시기에 좋은 곳이며, 카페 느낌 나는 곳이라 시간 보내시기에도 좋습니다.
  다만 테이블이 전부 외부에 있어서 날이 너무 덥거나 비어는 날은 피하시는게 좋을 것 같아요.
  메뉴에 같이 나오는 빵이 고소하니 너무 맛이 좋습니다. 내부에는 케익도 판매하니 같이 드셔보시는 것도 추천 합니다.
  주변에 괜찮은 음식점들이 참 많습니다. 하루 이 지역 지내시면서 최대한 많이 즐겨보세요.

  Super appreciated suggestion from my friends living in Bali. I have to admit that my passion for vegan burgers started here! I was skeptical in the beginning but I had one of the more tasty meals in Bali. I was almost in the end of my trip and Shady Shack was a beautiful surprise! I would have gone there more often for sure. Beautiful place, great atmosphere, super good food! Go there!

  Love every chocolaty foods and drinks on their menu. The vibe is kinda laid back and chill, and the staffs are so friendly. unlike many other cafes in Batu Bolong area.
