Me and my partner fav place for breakfast!
I like to go on weekend breakfast.
Good coffee, good food. The food portion also big enough.
They open early morning about 7 am (this is early for me)..
And in the morning usually have a lot of people come there after having exercise, or bicycling.
Well.. it’s a good vibes in the morning.
One of the best experiences I've ever had from a coffee shop in Jakarta, Definitely need to try these beans. To top that, the interior design is quite classy and very thoughtful for working remotely
- Quite Pricey (Around Rp. 150K-ish for 1 person)
- Very comfortable and aesthetic
- Music is not too loud so you can work
- Roti Bakar (Rp. 60K) - [Rating 4/5] Huge portion and the bread is good.
- Long Black (Rp. 38K) - [Rating 4/5]
- Atmosphere and comfort - [Rating 5/5]
Spacious and not so crowded on the weekend. We've tried Kalamansi Lime Tea and Fresh Lime Tea after we had long journey from BSD. The staffs are friendly and explains some of the use of the coffee tools in their store when I asked about manual brew tools.
The place is so clean and had very good ambience for hangout, dating on the weekend with your laptop too.
The place is very nice, upscale and seems cozy. I tried the ice capucinno, but not quite my taste. But i tasted their coffee beans before and it was very nice coffee. If you come to such places, i think its better to buy their hot coffee instead of the ice one.
One of the better coffee place in Jakarta. My only qualms is that the service is not consistent, a long wait of closed to 30 mins for my coffee. Not really acceptable to me especially when you want to pair a croissant with coffee and when the croissant have already served first. Warm croissant turns into a cold croissant! The interior of this place reminds me of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Shanghai, where you see a scene like a coffee production and roastery and big sacks coffee cherry being placed in the cafe. There’s a wide variety of local Indonesian coffee and methods of brewing in the menu. My personal choice would prefer the Central Java coffee bean with it’s lower nice acidity taste. Besides coffees, there are other beverages such as tea and belgian chocolate drinks, a selection of all-day food and breakfast food too. It’s ayam kampung noodles was delicious. Plain croissant with Elle & Vire butter is a perfect with hot coffee. Situated on a 3-storey building, First Crack Coffee is also a coffee academy. Ground and 1st floor are for customers and 2nd floor is the coffee learning place. Certain areas at the 1st floor are just too cold and not entirely conducive to hang around for sipping coffee. The staff informed that the air-condition temperature cannot be adjusted and it’s automated to such super cold temperatures. Staff are friendly, responsive and attentive. Customers during our visits on a Sunday brunch are mostly local Indonesian.
Good service
The coffee here is pretty good--I had a piccolo--and other drinks--iced tea--is nothing to complain about. This is not a mere coffee shop, but more of a cafe. The food my friends and I ordered--schnitzel, chicken, and fried finger food--are also not bad. But one thing I need to highlight is the industrial spacious cafe is a PET FRIENDLY place, something that is rare to find in Jakarta. I met an apparently famous dog model named Tiba that is a hit among the patrons of the cafe who take turn to take a selfie with the well mannered handsome dog. So, go ahead pet lovers, this is a coffee shop for you.
