A vintage coffee and eatery at the center of Jakarta. It presents various traditional dishes. The nasi jagung kawisari and chicken fillet in wijen (sesamae) with asian sauce were the best that we chose that day. The drink kiamboy calamansy, iced kawisari double shot coffee were okay.
It's located in a the center of central Jakarta and the restaurant is very busy even not in lunch or dinner time.
With the ancient building and vintage interior, of course menu and quick service, it should be in your wish list place to visit when you're in Jakarta.
It's a very interesting place with lots of antique and historical items inside. Has a spacious outdoor area on 2nd floor which is much more preferable now given our current situation. The staffs are also super friendly and helpful.
Went here with my friend during weekend. She ordered fried rice with goat meat and asked for not making it too spicy. For drinks, we have fresh juice of graviola while me have Kawisari Latte with hazelnut.
Like all Javanese meal, it turn out the fried rice too sweet for my friend's taste. If the meal a bit spicier then probably the balance between sweet and spicy would be better. But overall, she still enjoyed her meal.
As for the latte, the coffee is a bit strong for me, but still okay. They separate the sugar for each drinks.
As for the place, there are outdoor, semi outdoor and indoor seating, maintain safe distance due to the health protocol. We sat at semi outdoor area and enjoying our afternoon there. The service is okay, you should be more proactive calling them. But understandable due to many visitors during that time.

Udah kesini dua kali. Nyobain beberapa menu coffeenya lumayan, tapi nyobain wild berries nyelekit banget rasanya. Harusnya lebih dibanyakin hot waternya. Teko tehnya pun mini banget. Untuk keramahan barista mungkin perlu ditingkatkan lagi, bisa lebih open untuk ngobrol sama customer, masih kaku soalnya. Thanks semoga bisa semakin improve servicenya.
Agak kecewa pas ke sini wifi-nya lagi gangguan padahal mau sekalian ngerjain tugas (salah gw juga sih ga nanya dulu di awal). Terus di lantai 2nya entah kenapa agak sumuk gitu, panas huhu
Cakenya enak sih, pas buat dimakan rame2. Chicken gochujang rice bowl nya enak. Snack platternya agak kurang worth menurut gw hehehe *punten*
Kopi gula arennya, standar lah 👌
Tempatnya asik banget buat nongkrong, kalau mau tempat yang nyaman harus buru2 nih biar dapet yang sofa wkwkkw
