Four stars for the coziness and calmness of the place, very suitable for working or studying. The manual brew coffee is good, they also have many variants of beans. The drinks are pricey for Jogja standard, we spent 33k for the coffee and 33k for the sweet corn tea.

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! There's not much Vegan Restaurants around so to find one that's quite cheap (when compared to its serving size) is absolute wonders. I myself am not a Vegan but this place is definitely a Diamond in the Rough, I enjoyed every single moment!
The food here are Absolutely Delicious! I ordered (listed in order from top left to bottom right) The Shack Attack, VG Boss Burger, Burger Haloumi, Nori Bowl, and the Pillow Talk Special. All of which totally surpassed my expectations, especially because I generally meat over veggie. So to not only have no meat in my meal and having to Actually Enjoy it just amazes me.
I think there are some misconceptions about 'eggs' because eggs aren't escactly vegan, thus if someone do order something that has egg in it (wether its scrambled eggs, omelette, boiled egg, etc) do understand that they may not have it in stock at the moment or may take a while.
This brings me to the next point and that is the fact that some of the buns (or bread) they use might actually contain eggs as part of their ingredient, so do specify the type of bun (or bread) in order to avoid some misunderstandings or ask the staff/waiter about the variety they provide.
The customer service is very nice, thoughh it may differ during different hours (wether its rush hour or not).
The food do take some time to arrive (again depending on the hour) but its totally worth the wait.
Overall this place is a Must to Visit, I know it won't dissapoint!

Super appreciated suggestion from my friends living in Bali. I have to admit that my passion for vegan burgers started here! I was skeptical in the beginning but I had one of the more tasty meals in Bali. I was almost in the end of my trip and Shady Shack was a beautiful surprise! I would have gone there more often for sure. Beautiful place, great atmosphere, super good food! Go there!
Cute brunch place in a surprisingly open area of central Canggu. I love the âgone to groundâ wrap and the haloumi breakfast. Lots of delicious veggies and a delicious. The smoothie bowls are also good - heavy on the fresh fruit. We also got delivery from here during lockdown and it was as good as being in the restaurant.
