Located in Jalan Braga, Braga Permai is a legendary restaurant that has stood for more than 100 years that has good ambiance, great food with big portion. Braga pizza was tasty, I liked the thin crust. Pisang goreng kampung was also delicious, it was soft yet crunchy. But the salmon wellington is the absolute winner.

The only comfort place you can found around Kota Tua. Good service. However not-so impressed with the taste of food
Food was tasty and was nice in display. But feel quite thirsty after the meal. The reason I rated 1 star is the staff service. One man in light color shirt who lead the seat was in terrible and very arrogant attitude. It was not nice experience since the beginning. Many waiters and waitresses in not-too-busy hours but it is hard to get their attention. A few female staffs were in standard service. We sat on second floor (non smoking area). Space was nice with square view. Come for a drink is ok but if you are in Asian face, be careful with lousy service attitude. From the staffs service, this place is more welcoming Westerners than Asians.
I used to love this place, but yesterday we called the waiters 5 times, but they didn't even come to our table. So I don't know how to rate this place. However, I was pretty dissatisfied with the service provided last night. I understand it was a little crowded, but come on.. I called 5 different waiters. They just said, "Wait, we will come to your table," but they didn't come. My friend had to get up twice from the table and go to the counter to ask the waiter, and still, they didn't come to our table. Sad :(
Anyway...Its nice place to hangout with friends. Everything is good here. I loved the food, the ambiance, the people, and the beer! Cheers!
Waiter is unresponsive and rude
The food is not great compare with similar restaurant experience. But if you are here only for beer, it's still a good option
