One of the best food that I ate in my entire life. Sego tempong actually a traditional indonesian style of food serving where you can pick variates of food like warteg. And the tempong itself is actually some kind of sambal, uniquely from Banyuwangi. Anyway, I had fried shrimp, fried lungs, squids and of course the sambal tempong.
First about the food, specifically about the squid that is cooked with its ink. It's so tender, not rubbery. The fried shrimp and lungs also delicious
And about the sambal tempong. It's raw sambal, meaning they didn't cook it (to keep the freshness) and it's so delicious and so spicy. If you think you can handle spicy food, think again, because this sambal tempong is on another level
Because this warung is so full, you can't stay here for a long time

This veggies are very good and fresh, mixed with very nice and hot chili. The squid is very delicious and soft. And the place is very nice with traditional touch. You have to visit the kitchen, because it’s still has the traditional stove called ‘Tungku’.
