Mantabbb masse
This by far in my top list coffee shop. Their coffee are fresh, prefect mixture and blend. Located near IPB, surrounded by cozy lushes green, the pretty wooden house equiped with old style coffee bean processing machine. You can also buy their coffee bean collections.
Price is similar to those major coffee franchise.
I have been visited Rumah Kopi Ranin in different places.. Firstly in Jl Bangbarung, then moved to Indraprasta and now located near to IPB Dramaga.
I went to this place today after almost 2 (two) since Pandemic has no chance to visit it. As today was public holiday, almost all table were occupied. I got the best place to sit.. just beside the fish/lotus/stone stacking ponds.
I order manual brew V60 Arabica Garut Natural (30K) - love it very much, tubruk Arabica Enrekang (I think it was fully wash) 25K and Singkong goreng with sambal terasi (20K).
Rumah Kopi Ranin has many coffee beans from different places in Indonesia. ððð
Tips:
- Suggest to come on weekdays in the morning up to afternoon time. At night - it will be creepy ðĪŠð haha.
- Order V60 and choose natural coffee to get all flavors âĪïļð
- If rainy, it may slippery. So please use the appropriate shoes/ sandals and bring umbrella with you.
- It may be challenging for eldery as there were stone stairs even not much.
- They have 2 parking area, you can choose.
It's a hidden gem in Bogor, not far from Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB). The restaurant (or cafe) offers a wide range of local foods and drinks with a concept like you're in the middle of the jungle. The environment really gives you serenity and fresh air. Overall it is a very recommended place to visit whether you are in Bogor or travelling around the region.
nice place to had coffee, lunch and lunch.
Calming and breathtaking place
Kopi nya lumayan enak
Pisang Rai nya rasanya hambar
Great concept, ambiance, and service, definitely something different compared to coffeeshops in Dramaga. The coffee they serve is also of the specialty kind, and food looks good!
However i don’t think it’s for everybody. Firstly, access to the shop requires guests to climb down step-less stairs, quite possibly a safety hazard for older guests or children.
Secondly, the weather you visit in will affect your experience a lot, as there are no fans or AC (though to be fair, place is not that hot due to having lots of greenery).
Third, prices are quite premium, with v60 coffee costing ~35k and food ~50k, but i guess its still reasonable considering their unique concept. A good place to have a meeting or meet with clients.
However there are no separations for smoking and non smoking guests. Which i feel is something they could have easily implement, and a shame they didn’t, because the “back to nature” theme kind of disappears when you inhale tobacco smoke instead of fresh air ðŽ
Overall really happy that this place exists in Dramaga, i hope they can improve and perhaps one day i’ll enjoy the place better!
Ps. there is no wifi, but reception (Tsel & XL) was excellent
Sambalnya mantap dg aneka pilihan. Tempat cukup nyaman dan bersih, harga menu terjangkau sesuai dg yg disajikan.
Unt cita rasa khas bebeknya kurang kental, rasa bebeknya lbh cenderung rasa ayam kampung.
Saran, unt WC lbh baik dipindah ke tempat agak jauh dr ruang makan spy bau menyengat WC tdk sampai tercium dr tempat makan.
