My experience at the hotel was not pleasant! Shower was broken so I had to spend one day without shower. Room is very old and filthy. It has mold. See pictures attached. My request to checkout at 2:00 PM was declined unless I pay certain charge. I do not recommend this place. There are plenty of nicer and newer hotels in the same area.
I chose Sari Pacific for my mandatory quarantine hotel and it was not the most pleasant experience.....the room was dirty and dusty...i needed to take out my own curtain because it was too dusty and I could not breath properly as I am alergic to dust. The bath tub was dirty as well and when I tried to clean it before using it, it just peeled off. The staff was nice but not exactly accommodating, when I asked for something like water, it took a while for me to actually get it.

I'm not really a big fan of soto from center and east Java, they are mostly taste pretty bland. The chicken soto of Soto Bangkong is no different, i need to add tons of lime and chilli to make it less bland. But i really love their perkedel skewer and their -also famous- fried chicken.
The most Famous Mie Aceh in Medan.
Price is worth the money. I tried Mie Aceh "Basah/tumis" with shrimp and crab and Hot lime juice. The taste is delicious.
You have say it again and again if you order hot tarik tea, because they usually serve cold one. Nice and variative Aceh's food menu. One of must culinary destination in Medan.
