The Pirates' House

This restaurant is any child's dream, with candy in a treasure chest, kids' menus that turn into pirate hats and a real gold coin.

The fresh banana pina colada was the best ever. The orange marmalade is the only orange marmalade that I will eat. Hate it normally. Love it here. had shrimp and grits this time and it was delicious.

    Best mac and cheese ever?

The crab soup and shrimp basket is excellent! Great customer service from the moment we walked in! If you are able come when they first open, few people and more room to explore!

Recognized for appealing Southern cuisine since 1753, it is an unforgettable dining experience. History tells that the Pirates' House was the tavern of choice by Capt. Flint of "Treasure Island."

The food was excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. We had had the grilled chicken. But I think one of the ghost gave me diarrhea. Very haunted.

Try the honey pecan fried chicken! I have never had chicken this good. Wonderful!

Oldest bar in Georgia and a must while you're in Savannah. Bypass the wait and head over to the historic (and recently fully reno'd) bar space.

A great time in the bar area! Get the artillery punch, and if Travis is behind the bar, ask for the Pirate's Butthole shot! Get the pecan crusted fried chicken...soooooooo gooood!

Such an outstanding piece of history. Those who are fans of Stevenson's Treasure Island, you have got to see this place. Captain Flint of the book is said to have died here, telling his stories.

The oldest bar in Georgia. Est. 1753.

Just had some drinks and a 'tour' of the place by a 'pirate' actor. Only stop at the bar to have drinks if you have LOTS of time on your hands. The tour is kid geared.

    Great she crab soup!

  • Jeff Stone

The grilled salmon salad is ginormous and quite tasty.
