Small airport, don't have to be 2 hours early for the flight. Very crowded early morning. Have to walk till the flight from the terminal.
Heavy rush for early morning flights, keep extra half an hour with you.

The Lounges are situated on the first floor, if you have time to kill check them out.
If you are lucky, you'd get to see Sukhoi 30 MKI taking off or landing.
With the upgrade underway nothing works no card swipe no queue mechanisms nothing. It's a pity a glorious city like Pune has such a pathetic airport service.
Make sure to bring a print out of your itinerary with your name on to get access to airport. Also, make sure the security check point stamps your airline bag tags for carry on language.
The city is very close by around 25 min, nothing mch to do at airport though. The route via vimannagar has good shopping and hangout places.
One of the few options when you want a late night / early morning snack . Quite expensive but the food is decent . My favorites are Chicken Noodles and fried rice . Cigarettes are also available here.
much friendlier compared to a lot of airports world over. limited things to do. dont take the 2 hour advice seriously here. 45 mins more than enough

flight or no flight, this is the only place you'll find food outside a hotel 24hrs legally. the dhaba style restaurant's called jeeto's. post mid-night chai ftw. and the biryani too!
